Returns & Refunds

Every Happy Day card is personalised and made to order, so our returns policy is a little different to standard retail. Here’s how it works.

Personalised Products

Because every card is custom designed and printed specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind reasons once your order has been placed. This is in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), which permits exceptions for goods made to a consumer’s specifications.

We do, however, stand behind the quality of our work. If something has gone wrong, we want to make it right, so please read on.

Damaged Cards

If your printed card arrives damaged or defective, we’ll replace it at no cost to you. To claim a replacement:

  • Email contact@happyday.ink within 3 days of receiving your card
  • Include your order number and a photo of the damaged card and packaging
  • We’ll verify the issue and either reprint and reship your card free of charge, or refund the full amount to your original payment method

Failed AI Generations

If our AI fails to generate an image during your design process, you will be notified immediately and no credits will be deducted. You can simply try again with a different prompt, style, or reference photos at no cost. Because no money changes hands on failed generations, there is nothing to refund.

Digital Cards

Digital cards are delivered instantly on payment and cannot be returned. If you experience a technical issue with your digital card (for example, the shareable link doesn’t work), please contact us and we’ll resolve it or issue a refund.

Credit Top-Ups

Generation credits purchased through top-up packs are non-refundable once purchased. Please make sure you intend to use them before checking out.

How to Request a Refund

For damaged cards or technical issues, email contact@happyday.ink within 3 days of receipt with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos (if applicable)

We’ll review your request and respond within 2 working days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method and typically clear within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
